Our Story
A piece of
New York history.
Founded in 1888, Katz's Delicatessen has been feeding New Yorkers from the same corner on E Houston Street for generations. Walk in and feel it immediately: the hum of a packed room, the smell of cured meat, the walls covered in photos and memories from decades past.
The service is no-frills, the crowd is real, and the sandwiches are built to the old standard. Tender, juicy pastrami. Corned beef on rye. Crispy potato latkes. Pickles, both half sour and full sour, on the side. This is the deli in its original, unpolished form.
